![]() The most important setting in Global Tuning (Wattman) is the Reset Tab, before loading any saved overclocking profile it is a good idea to press the Reset Tab and it is important for recovering from crashes when testing overclocks. Secondly, it is advisable you have used AMD Clean Uninstall or DDU in safe mode and with fresh install of Adrenalin drivers that you wish to test overclocks in. Therefore, it is the Reference RX 5700XT model with no binning of the GPU die and with a loud fan curve: P1 = 50%, P2 = 55%, P3 = 65%, P4 = 72% and P5 = 72%. I believe the fault was to do with the voltage regulation (I could be wrong). ![]() Furthermore, it exhibited FPS regression and big stutters in game benchmarks. The one I got from .uk saw the memory modules hit 100C temperatures (I stopped the testing at 100C), which is about 20C higher than my Reference RX 5700XT. The model I bought was the Gigabyte RX 5700XT OC, which does have outstanding reviews on YouTube. I will be using a Reference (blower) RX 5700XT for this guide, I did buy a factory overclocked model, but unfortunately it was faulty, and it was returned for a refund.
